Jessica Pierce
About the Artist
To Jessica, art has always been a form of release—expression without permission, creation without apology, and authenticity without rules. She holds an unwavering belief that we are all born artists, and that somewhere along the way, many of us are taught to quiet that truth. Everything she creates, teaches, and leads in the arts is rooted in helping people reclaim it and develop what she calls creative confidence—the understanding that creativity is valid simply because it belongs to the person creating it.
Her work is intentionally one of a kind, mirroring the individuality of the humans who make and experience it. Jessica works intuitively, letting emotion, instinct, and curiosity lead the way. While she’s inspired by organization, she truly thrives in chaos—embracing creative detours, imperfect timing, and even procrastination as part of the process. She never formally studied art, a path she wears with pride. Now, as an adult, she has chosen to step back into art education to learn foundational techniques, all while continuing to honor her own rhythm and a creative process free from rigid technical rules.
Community sits at the center of Jessica’s world. She is deeply embedded in the arts ecosystem as an artist, educator, leader, and advocate. An active member of multiple arts groups, she is also a vocal supporter of fellow artists, instructors, and creatives. She owns and operates ART with me AZ, a Paint & Sip Studio, serves as the Executive Director of Ground Floor Artists, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit creative hub in the West Valley, and is the Brand and Strategy Officer for EPIC Earth Arts, an online arts education and community platform. She believes art becomes stronger when creatives uplift one another, show up for each other’s work, and celebrate risk. Teaching, collaborating, and learning alongside her peers continues to shape and deepen her own artistic practice.
Outside the studio, Jessica is family-oriented and deeply connected to the people—and animals—she loves. She’s been a devoted partner for over 20 years, a proud fur mama to two incredible pups, and caretaker to two endlessly entertaining desert tortoises. An animal enthusiast, a middle child through and through, and a genuinely goofy soul, she finds joy in connection and shared experiences. Recently, she returned to learning in a new way—taking sewing lessons alongside her mom and sister—a quiet reminder that creativity is lifelong, ever-evolving, and at its best when shared.
As Jessica often says, "art is not about getting it right—it’s about letting yourself be free."
