about the artist
I was born January 2nd, 1969 in New York, New York. I am an artist, jewelry maker and craftsperson. I am a nurse by profession. I like working primarily with canvas and acrylic paint, but I also like doing mixed media work also and discovering new techniques to use.
In my jewelry work, I recycle broken jewelry or old jewelry and transform it into something new. I also use guitar strings primarily for the base of my necklaces. I use a mix of stones, glass and different metals.
I also create tumblers and water bottles using paint, fabric and resin. I do take on commission work for all 3 mediums.
I am married, living currently in Sun City West and I love live music, art and food.
