About the Artist

Laser carving of wood has been the latest addition to the list of my creative hobbies. It follows writing poetry and singing (karaoke)! This completes a trio of qualities which define one’s life to be meaningful as a human being, per my culture. These three qualities are – interest/skill in Literary Works, Music/Singing and some kind of Art.

My initiation in wood carving began in January 2023. Mechanical engineering background and a strand of creativity gene propelled me quickly in producing artworks that has wowed all those who have seen it. This gave me a lot of encouragement and confidence to continue experimenting on creating different shapes and patterns from wood.

My workshop is in my garage in Glendale, AZ. Great support from my wife, son, daughter, and son-in-law is the wind under my wings.

I am also involved in another creative vertical – designing and building indoor/outdoor portable/semi-portable water fountains. I can share more details on this for those who may be interested, outside of GFA forum.

I think I have just gotten my feet wet in the vast ocean of creative potential. Eager to dive into the deeper waters!

I am fortunate to have discovered GFA and to be associated with them at this early stage of my creative endeavor.
