Diane Jaquier


About the Artist

Diane has a degree in commercial interior design and spent her career doing interior architecture and design projects across the country, specializing in hotels and country clubs. In addition, she studied traditional hand bookbinding at the Ecole des Arts Plastiques in Monaco while residing abroad. Upon her return to the US she studied at the renowned California College of Arts and Crafts in San Francisco with a continued focus on bookbinding and paper arts which led to an internship with acclaimed book artist, Julie Chen.

Diane has a passion for all things artistic and creative. She is currently focusing on mixed media pieces, painting, and decorative paper design. She has always been driven by color and texture as well as the forms and shapes of great architecture. These components have been consistent inspiration for her design projects as well as her art and she loves creating fresh, exciting, and unique work.
